Inspiration comes from her love and reverence for the natural world and, the beauty surrounding her rural home. Frieda is a member of the Quest Art School + Gallery and The Barrie Art Club where she regularly displays her painting in their galleries.

28 of the paintings in her series of paintings "My Favourite Places in Ontario" are on display until August 27, 2024 at the Barrie Art Club.
